On Friday, PSMC’s radio show at KWUF featured Jason Webb, PSMC EMS Chief and Director of EMS. Jason began the show by announcing the arrival of PSMC’s new ambulance, which includes safety updates, ergonomic features, enhanced communication systems, and more. Jason also mentioned the continued efforts of PSMC’s EMS to respond quickly during construction, including staging an ambulance on the east side of town. He then discussed the role of PSMC’s EMS at events in our community and highlighted a documentary, Honorable but Broken, that takes an in-depth look at the role of EMS as a whole, including staffing shortages and a strained funding system. Jason finished the show by elaborating on one of PSMC’s multi-year projects, an oxygen generation system and building.
